Black Bean Filling

Spiced black beans, quickly sautéed and lightly mashed.

Black beans1 lb
Onionfinely diced¼ lb(≈ 1 small)
Garlicminced2 cloves
Cumin1 tsp
Smoked paprika½ tsp
Avocado oil1 tbsp
Lime juice1 tbsp
Salt[Diamond Crystal kosher salt assumed throughout.]to taste

Directions

  1. cook

    Warm Avocado oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook finely diced Onion until soft, then add minced Garlic and stir for 1 minute.

  2. Add Cumin, Smoked paprika, and Black beans. Stir to coat and cook until heated through and lightly mashed at the edges.

    Season with Salt and finish with Lime juice.
