One-Pot Rice

Directions

    Rinse White rice in cool water until it runs mostly clear.

  2. Cut Chicken thigh into bite-sized pieces and season evenly with Salt. Set aside.

  3. Cut Broccoli into bite-sized florets.

  4. Spread the rinsed rice in a medium pot. Add Water, Soy sauce, minced Garlic, and grated Ginger. Stir once to distribute the aromatics.

    Scatter the seasoned protein evenly over the rice. Lay the vegetables on top. Do not stir.

    Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, then immediately reduce to the lowest possible simmer. Cover tightly and cook undisturbed until all the water is absorbed, 18–20 minutes.

    Remove from heat. Rest, still covered, for 10 minutes.

    Drizzle with Sesame oil and fluff gently with a fork or rice paddle. Serve directly from the pot.
